Forget Thought Leadership, I’m the Vibe Captain.
Like most creatives, I thought I was born with the magical ability that would allow me to reinvent the wheel.
From an early age, the concept of tapping into and harnessing the collective unconscious intrigued me. It blows my mind that our mind, body, and soul inherits innate thoughts and feelings that then become shaped by our own personal experience.
These days, a simple TikTok (or Insta story, don’t judge) can connect me to the collective unconscious – from the urge to cancel plans the moment I make them, to the crippling weight of imposter syndrome – tearing down the instinct to buy into my own “terminal uniqueness”.
Throughout the years, I turned to other thought leaders for inspiration and guidance. While I resonated with their wisdom, reading lengthy articles with jargon and buzzwords only made my ADHD kick in. Where were the thought leadership doodles? Pinterest boards? Memes?
Then it finally hit me.
I don't have to harness the collective unconscious. The only thing I must steer are the vibes. Fuck thought leadership. I am the Vibe Captain.
Vibes to foster a safe collaborative space within my team to spark creativity
Vibes to nurture our values of pride in the work, and the joy of doing it
Vibes to create connections that innovate and elevate for our clients
Forget Thought Leadership, I’m the Vibe Captain.
At the end of the day, the only thing I can do better than anyone else is bring my experience to create the right vibes. It’s how my team can be their most creative, alive, and authentic selves and trust that I will steer them in the right direction.
So, no. I’m not your typical thought leader.
